Traffic Jam in Shillong in next 2024 is more worst

The movement of vehicles in Shillong City is increasing from day to day, as we can see from the ease of access for cars. People have to spend an hour on the road for 4-5 kilometres.

The jam on Shillong Road is caused by the overcrowding of private vehicles, which really makes it uncomfortable for someone trying to reach their destination.

Up until now, neither the policymaker nor the home department nor the department of Transport have initiated any way of removing the daily road congestion, and we might say that these VIPs moving on the road along the VIP siren do not understand the situation.

Nothing on a by-pass or fly-over road in Shillong has been of concern to the Government in Shillong. There is no restriction on vehicles like heavy vehicles entering the city or private vehicles entering the busy road, especially the commercial road.

There is nothing strong in the initiative from the government so as to make Shillong the centre of development; otherwise, workers and government servants are sometimes excused from traffic jams, which makes them spend more time on traffic jams than office work, which may bring another problem to the entire state.

Every government servant owns a private car, and they usually go to work by using their own car, which means one servant is one car and thus invites complications to the office work and traffic jams as well.
