The Legislator from Nongkrem Constituency and the President of VPP has submitted the call attention on 22 September 2023 to the MDA government under the poor performance of state in every factor.

Ardent Basaiawmoit has rise questioning on national ranking of Meghalaya why in every factor to the lowest number include GDP the Capita Income which rank upto 27. Which is the very lowest among all state.

At the same time Basaiawmoit ensure that he is not avoid of debate however as per rule call attention is not for debate but if he is willing then he is ready for debate, Basaiawmoit stated.
