Railways demand in meghalaya improve trade, exports, good economy in Meghalaya.

Transportation is the priority mode of communication in any social aspect, from the primary to secondary sectors, as we are all dependent on the export of raw materials and imports of goods for our daily necessities.

Transportation is always considered the backbone of the economic system. Goods and services cannot be delivered on time when transportation is absent.

However, transportation is not the same for all times, decades, and centuries; there must be some changes in the system from time to time depending on how much demand there is in the market.

By railway transport, we can say that it is faster transport at a very low rate of transport, which really helps entrepreneurs and other producers who produce products, and especially the farmer who is really trying to export abroad but ends up in transportation. Though they can send or export by car or by bus, what happens when products are biodegradable? It could witness some huge losses, but by train or rail, it will be rapid transport at a low price and really help farmers as well as the state grow in the economy.

Some places, like Meghalaya and other tribal areas, still believe that the approach of the railway must be the beginning of an influx to that particular place. However, if policies are implemented and if the district council plays exactly the role of the council, then there will be no more inflow of outsiders, even if railway transportation happens in Meghalaya.

But for rapid growth of the economy in Meghalaya, we urgently need to say that railways are needed so as to keep arising in GDP. Recently, Meghalaya ranked up to the 23rd position among the other states and was considered the top poverty state in India.
